What a fantastic eventful day at Apple Vale ...looks like a well earned rest for those baies after all that effort....now I'm just wondering....where have they hidden those Olympic Medals ! Fantastic photos...and beautiful babies .......Jayne
The 'neck hug' in the last photograph reminds me of both Anna Watkins & Katherine Grainger and Helen Glover & Heather Stanning and their winning 'in boat' embraces.
Presumably the first two photographs are shot suring the time trials. Number seven appears to be a photo finish, but then number eight might be Discovery in the lead?
Starting with 3 female alpacas in August 2008, this blog' follows the development of an alpaca breeding and fleece enterprise: the husbandry, breeding, managing the land and the infrastructure - shelters, fencing, drainage etc., while keeping a day job going, and hopefully in a light-hearted way. Also see our 'sister' site: www.appleknit.co.uk for info on spinning, felting etc.
I enjoy pop and rock music. 'Shooting Stars', with Reeves and Mortimer, makes me cry with laughter.
